Heart j Center ~ Vision
Seventy years ago, as World War II came to an end, Maurice and Tillie Jessup fulfilled a longtime dream when they had the chance to purchase Sylvan Dale Ranch, which was then a parcel of 125 acres of land along the Big Thompson River.
In the decades that followed, the Jessup Damily grew the ranch to more than 3,000 acres, established a welcoming brand of customer service, bred a beautiful string of saddle horses, and welcomed thousands of guests from around the world. Maurice and Tillie were dedicated to two passions: Sylvan Dale and education, which makes this place the perfect spot for the Heart J Center for Experiential Learning.
With a mission of providing hands-on learning for people of all ages, the Heart J Center has welcomed nearly 4,000 participants since launching in July 2014.
The Center makes the most of Sylvan Dale's beautiful landscape, biological diversity, rich human history, and Western heritage by offering an array of programs that allow people to explore this place, discover new passions, and find freedom in creativity.
