Join naturalist David Neils for a two-part series of guided hikes up Sulzer Gulch and across Mount Alexander at Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch.
You'll learn about the predators that use the gulch, including mountain lions, bobcats, coyotes, black bear, and fox.
David will share what he does to capture photos and videos of these predators, as well as special tips for winter wildlife tracking and photography.
Hike rating: Difficult
All participants should wear appropriate footwear, dress appropriately for the weather (layers, waterproof pants
and coat, hat and gloves, etc.), bring snacks and
a sack lunch, and plenty of water.
These hikes are co-sponsored by Larimer County Natural Resources. The hikes are free but registration is required at the County's website (click green button below).
Hikes are limited to 15 participants.
