The Healthcare Heroes Retreats are led by a fun and talented team along with special guest speakers:

Steph Dalager, M.S. and Shelly Annameier, M.S., Wildfire Wellbeing: Steph is a therapist and community educator at the Child Trauma and Resilience Assessment Center in Fort Collins, CO and holds an M.S. in Human Development with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy from Colorado State University. She is trained as a yoga teacher, with specific training in trauma-sensitive yoga, she has also led mindfulness-based group therapy.  Shelly a mindfulness guide on wilderness treks for young adult cancer survivors and is a therapist in private practice. Shelly has an M.S. in Human Development and Family Studies with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy. She has led mindfulness-based group therapy and is trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction.

Beth Roome, M.A., Switchback Institute: Beth worked for seven years with the Colorado Departments of Human Services and Public Health and Environment and six years with the Colorado Department of Public Safety. Her roles included strategic planning, guidance of process improvement initiatives, employee training and workforce resilience. Beth is passionate about providing employees doing high impact work with strategies for resilience as teams and as individuals. She created workforce resilience training and an expanded resilience workshop which have been delivered in various formats to over 100 agencies and numerous conferences throughout Colorado and across the U.S. 

Silas Binkley, M.A., Heart-J Center: Silas has more than 15 years leading outdoor education courses. Silas will lead the recreation components of the retreat, including archery and hiking.
