Spring Season Runs April 13th through May 22nd
The Heart-J Center is a 501c3 nonprofit offering students the chance to get out of the classroom and immerse themselves in fun and challenging activities that embrace nature-centered themes such as archery, art, connecting with horses, natural history, river ecology, writing, leadership skills, outdoor skills and more!
Activities are customized to meet the needs of your group, with many topics that align with state standards. We offer programs for groups up to 300, with options ranging from 2-hours to three-days!
What We Offer:
A 3,000 acre learning laboratory at Sylvan Dale Ranch on the west side of Loveland
Programming options ranging from 2-hours to 3-days
Professional facilitator staff
A wide range of outdoor education themed topics to choose from to tailor your field trip to your educational goals!
Who Can Reserve a Field Trip: All K-12 teachers and administrators
Cost: The Heart-J Center is a 501c3 nonprofit and charges $25 per student for groups sized 1-100 and $20 per student for groups sized 100+. However, HJC does not turn school groups away if the cost of the field trip is prohibitive to the class or any students attending. If you feel you're unable to cover the cost of the trip, you’ll have the opportunity on the reservation request form to let us know the reason for the scholarship request and the scholarship size you are requesting.

Outdoor Education Field Trips
Heart-J Center gives students the chance to get out of the classroom and immerse themselves in fun and challenging activities that embrace science, history, agriculture, art, writing, leadership skills, outdoor skills and more!
Activities are customized to meet the needs of your group, with many topics that match state standards. We offer programs for groups up to 300. One, two, and three-day options available.

Heart-J Center partners with community organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club of Larimer County, Scout troops, and other groups with hiking, scientific study, outdoor skills, art projects, horses, camping trips, and more.
