Heart-J Adventure Camp Policies

 Adventure Camp will occur at the scheduled time rain or shine, unless severe weather conditions warrant otherwise.  Heart-J Center reserves the right to cancel/reschedule any service if we believe weather conditions are dangerous or not ideal for fun and exploration. 

Each family must sign a liability waiver before the first day of the first session attended.

Payment Plans:

Because Heart-J Adventure Camp has limited spaces, we recommend reserving your spots early. We anticipate selling out by April 1. [The early bird rate of 15% off is good until March 1.] To make it easier to budget for camp, we offer two styles of payment plan:

·       Monthly Payments:  Divide your camp fees over several months.

·       Half Now, Half Later:  Pay half of the camp fees now and the rest before the first day of camp.

Payment plans are only available online, making it easy and convenient for you to set up and manage your automated credit card payments.  Whichever plan you choose, all camp fees need to be paid in full before camp starts. 

Payment Plan Details:

·       All payment plans finish on June 1, 2024.

·       Setting up a payment plan costs $25.

·       Late payments will incur a $25 fee.

·       Unpaid late fees may result in losing your reservation.

·       Cancellations carry a $50 fee per participant (see details below).

·       The fees for setting up a payment plan, late payments, and registration are not refundable.

Changing Your Camp Week(s) & Using Camp Credits

·       Credits may be scheduled online up to 48 hours prior to camp.

·       You may reschedule online using your family account at no charge if there are spots available.

·       Parents are responsible for managing their credits, scheduled sessions, and rescheduling.

·       A convenience fee of $25 applies for rescheduling over the phone.

·       No rescheduling credit for notice given less than 48 hours before camp or for no-shows.

·       No credit for missed camp days that were scheduled.

 

Camp Details

Drop-off is from 8:45am to 9:00am and pick-up is at 3:00pm. Extended care (from 3:00 to 5:00) is available.

If campers are dropped off earlier or picked up later, you’ll be invoiced for extended care ($18 an hour, per camper).

 

Cancelling Camps
If you need to cancel a camp, we offer camp credits with no cancellation fee.  Credits are valid for two years and may be used for any Participant on your Customer account. 

If you choose a refund instead of a credit:
Refunds are available with a $50 cancellation fee per cancelled weekly session or $20 per cancelled daily session. 

 If your kid/s have already attended a day or more of camp, and wish to cancel, you will be charged for each individual day attended at the Day Pass rate. This amount, plus the $50 cancellation fee, will be deducted from the refund.
