Heart-J Legacy Circle
In the summer of 1946, Maurice and Mayme “Tillie” Jessup launched a dream by purchasing 125 acres along the Big Thompson River. Over the years, Maurice and Tillie turned their initial investment in Sylvan Dale — $12,502 — into a legacy of meaningful experiences for tens of thousands of guests from around the world.
Members of the Heart-J Legacy Circle honor Maurice and Tillie's dedication to education and their passion for enriching people's lives by sharing the wonders of Sylvan Dale. In loving memory of Patricia "Peej" Davis of Valdosta, Georgia who loved Sylvan Dale. Peej helped get Heart-J Center off the ground with a gift of $100,000 in 2014. Sadly, Peej passed away in 2018. We miss her dearly. Her enthusiasm for the vision for Heart-J Center was infectious. Read on to hear Peej’s own words about why she chose to make a significant investment in Heart-J Center.
