PRIMITIVE SURVIVAL

& TRACKING INTENSIVE

WHAT TO EXPECT

In this course, we'll look to have an immersive experience in survival basics.  Participants will learn to produce primitive shelter and fire, and procure food and water, all from the landscape.  Some hands-on skills that students might expect to produce would include bow drill fire, primitive traps and simple weapons, simple containers, and debris hut-style shelters.  Students will also learn uses of local and common plants, in depth animal and landscape tracking skills, and the theory, or philosophy, of survival and living with the land.

❋ Matt Corradino

Matt has been learning and living primitive survival skills for over 26 years.  He taught for world-renowned survivalist and tracker, Tom Brown Jr., for over 17 years.  During his time there, Matt spent 7 years living in a primitive shelter in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey.  As well as teaching for various other schools across the country, he has worked with well-known youtubers such as Clay Hayes and Tom McElroy.  He was a participant on History Channel's Alone (season 8).  Matt and his wife run their own school, Caribbean Earth Skills, at their home on St. Croix, in the US Virgin Islands.

❋ Bill Marple

Bill is an experienced tracker, teacher and naturalist.  Originally from Portsmouth, NH, Bill draws on a wide variety of experiences, ranging from serving in the Marine Corps as an infantry officer, to living and working as an apprentice to Tom Brown jr at Tracker School.  Bill is extremely passionate about helping people to connect to nature through a study of tracking for a wide variety of endeavors. Over the past 20 years, he has worked with business professionals, primitive skills enthusiasts, law enforcement and military professionals, hobbyists and professional trackers alike. Bill worked as the Tracking Instructor at Tracker School for 15 years under the direct supervision and tutelage of Tom Brown, jr, learning and integrating this lineage and approach to tracking into his life and passing it on to students.  Additionally, Bill worked as a Subject Matter Expert for Tracking for the Defense Department at the USMC Combat Hunter Program, and has taught workshops on his own in different areas of the country.

Bill truly feels that human beings are born to track, and is excited to share his passion with his students!
